Special Delivery

Wahooooooooooo!!!! Special delivery today!!! Our visa for Nepal. Praise the Lord this time that it doesn't have my disturbing mugshot on it this time, I call it the curse of Janine Butcher from Eastenders everytime I have a passport/visa photo done. 

Next Steps:

After my FINAL exam on Monday (and the library afterwards to do more work on a presentation- final year is no fun) I will be straight to the post office to send off for mine and Mike's visa for China, where I am hoping to spend some time with Dad and Anna (if she is still there). 

First stop: GOA, INDIA

We have booked our very first hostel at our first destination for a couple of nights. Will be pretty cool after  a long flight and a nice way to start travelling, I am sure it isn't all going to be beach huts and bbqs! Check out the link. Planning Away

Now we have our itinerary set, it is time to get down to the nitty gritty of organising the routes in each country (massive stress but so exciting). We have started to get our visas- which is great, however passport pictures are not my friends! I look like an escaped convict! I have yet to start getting my travel jabs- not looking forward to that and I have been raped over the price of them! There is so much hidden cost when going travelling, and it is all starting to add up. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity though so I am going to try and not dwell on that too much! I will have to save pennies elsewhere like grubby hostels (weep). At least I will have Mike with me to keep me safe! He keeps telling me there won't be any plug sockets or electricity though, I hope this is a wind up! Especially when I have already been put on a high heel ban!
